Wind Waker on Wii U really manages to shine thanks to the graphical updates to the lighting, shadows, higher quality models, and shading, so imagine Mario Sunshine getting the same treatment. And yes I know that fan remake is in the works, but it's still incomplete as of this comment (and may be what I'll have to settle for in lieu of a Bethesda made remake).Īlso Fallout 1 and 2 with the gameplay of Fallout 3 and New Vegas (get Obsidian to work on them, given Obsidian was founded by former Fallout 1 and 2 devs).Īlso I feel a game like Super Mario Sunshine could benefit from an HD remake like Wind Waker did. I know some people may hate me for saying this, but if they remade Morrowind with the Skyrim engine and did away with the speed stat (the thing that makes starting playthroughs a pain because you start off slow as molasses unless you pick a very specific race and sign, something that I do not want to do because what if I want to play an Argonian or Khajiit?) and updated the combat to work more like Skyrim, I'd play it because it'd get rid of two of my biggest issues with that game (I started playing Elder Scrolls with Oblivion, I was just much too used to how speed and combat works there that Morrowind felt "too archaic" in those areas for my liking). I never played the main Summon Night games, but I loved the two side stories on GBA, the first one suffered mostly from grindy gameplay and a ridiculous encounter rate, but it did have a yuri fairy! So that's cool! Also the idea of having to forge your own equipment while fighting in a tournament and uncovering truths behind long-standing mysteries with a colorful cast? Good stuff. A few attempts at sequels have been made, neither got off the ground. Its puzzles were mostly pretty reasonable too. It all made for a damn fine game with a spiffy art style. Badass biker with a voice that makes Steve Blum's sound clear and gravel-free, an illegitimate heir to a family fortune, and conspiracy and framing for murder. I can't count the number of times I played through it as a kid. It did the whole Metroidvania FPS before Metroid Prime did, man! And it was incredible! Also Don LaFontaine did the cutscene narration and the voice of the spirit of Ramses.(Did I mentioned I have a major hard-on for Egyptian mythology? Cuz I do.)įull Throttle was my favorite of the old Lucasarts SCUMM games.
#Simearth remake Pc
The console version specifically, the PC version was a dolled-up installment with little in the way of relevance. Gonna drop Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy here again because it was awesome and there's not enough games based on Egyptian mythology.įor more Egyptian goodness, how about Powerslave? No, not the Iron Maiden album, you Europeans know it as Exhumed. With Vyse's inclusion in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed, along with him and Aika being soldiers and Fina being a medic in Valkyria Chronicles, I feel like it's a dev's way of saying "Hey, we want it as much as you do."

Skies of FUCKING Arcadia, God flapjacks damnit! I think some of the old SEGA employees want to do it.
